Leadership Crisis: Fear Costing UK Businesses £2.2 Billion Annually
Fearful leadership, whether conscious or unconscious, has profound implications for team morale and organisational well-being. Leaders who operate under fear often suffer from past experiences, perpetuating a cycle of anxiety, micromanagement, imposter syndrome, and reluctance to provide or receive feedback. My study featured by EMC UK, highlights that fear-based leaders lose an average of 10 hours of productivity per week, costing companies approximately £9,545 per leader annually.
