Your team is a mirror of your leadership, so when catastrophe occurs, notice what you notice. What are the words you’re using, the symbols you’re creating, the things you’re measuring which show your people what matters in your business? Are you talking about the need for discipline, but then showing up late to meetings? Are you telling your people to respect each other, but then complaining about your colleagues? Did you support the wrong people, or overlook bad behaviour?
